Responsibilities:
– Responsible for copywriting, editing/proofreading and creative concept development
– Exceptional story telling ability
– The ability to vary language and tone of messages based on the context and medium.
– Obtain all information needed on the product or service and discuss style and length of the copy.
– Edit or rewrite existing copy as necessary and submit for approval
– Conduct research and interviews in order to determine what aspect should be promoted.
– Review copy trends, consumer surveys and any other relevant data to determine the best way to promote services/products
Technical Skills:
– Fluent in Arabic & English: Written, Spoken, Read
– Presentation Skills
– Ability to convince
– Exceptional communication skills with the team
– Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
– Communication/Social Skills
– Computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Tech savvy, Social Media Monitoring Tools (is a plus)
Education/Experience:
– Undergraduate degree in journalism, communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business degree and/or related fields
– 1-2 years marketing experience, agency experience is a plus
– A presentation of your portfolio might be requested at the interview stage
