Brief: Halwani Bros, the leading producer and distributor of middle-eastern products such as Halawa, Tahina, Mamoul, Dairy, Processed meat, Jam, Juices, and other provisions in Saudi Arabia was planning to re-launch one of their best-selling products and of which they are a market leader in- the Halwani Jam, with a completely new packaging and added benefits. The Social Clinic was commissioned to develop a social media campaign (all the way from strategy to concept, content, design and execution) that would generate excitement around the new packaging and create awareness about the added benefits.
Delivery: The first stage of the campaign was a ‘teaser’ competition where audiences were challenged to answer a series of riddles on the brand Page about the benefits of a mystery product, with winners receiving a set of Halwani products. Next, the new-look packaging was revealed through a series of engaging images and eleven light-hearted stop motion videos that depicted the transformation of the old packaging into the new, re-branded jar. Audiences were encouraged to share the videos on their own timelines, for a chance to win a set of the new Hawani jams. A total of 55 winners across the Middle East were chosen from thousands of entrants.
